PCB Chief Zaka Ashraf has been cleared by Pakistan government to visit India. Zaka plans to visit neighboring country in next few days where he will have meeting with BCCI Officials in order to resume bilateral Cricket ties with India.
Zaka Ashraf is trying his level best to resume bilateral ties with India and expressed his desire to tour India; Pakistan is currently in top form with one of the finest spin bowling in world cricket. Their 3 front line spinners Ajmal, Hafeez and Afridi has found place in top 10 ODI bowlers ranking.
It looks that Pakistan will comfortably beat England in their next series at UAE; If this is the case then forget India-Pakistan series in near future. India will never agree to face such confident and strong Pakistani Side.
India has a lot more to lose than Pakistan. Without a doubt they'll be favorites and have upper-hand in the Indo-Pak battle lately. They beat Pakistan at Mohali in the semi-finals and later won the World Cup. If they agree to play Indo Pak series in India and if Pakistan upsets them - then it will be a massive blow to Cricket India. The best thing from BCCI's perspective is to involve politics and deny Zaka Ashraf's offer. It will be a surprise to me if they plays a series in the first half of year 2012.
